C-TOP 2019 magazine with article on Goettling Interiors featuring Oliver Goettling

Designer – OLIVER GOETTLING: Visionary founder of Goettling Interiors, personally resonates with the characteristics of the emirate of Dubai where he founded his design firm Goettling Interiors – self made, ambitious, resilient and respectful towards traditions. His designs exude the quintessential German design values of high quality, efficiency, precision and aesthetically awe-inspiring.

“It is important to acknowledge that the kitchen has evolved to being the heart of the house where families like to unwind, host guests, have conversations, grab quick bites, and more in addition to cooking. Also, people who use the kitchens, do not like to be isolated from the rest of the house and hence the widespread trend of open concept floor plan, importantly open kitchens.”, points out Oliver.

State-of-art & luxury defining kitchen on Palm Jumeirah, Dubai:

The design aim for this particular project was to deliver a kitchen that was state-of-art and spacious. The challenge here was to accommodate all the client wishes in a limited spaced, oddly laid out closed kitchen area. We achieved the best solution by knocking off the partition wall between the kitchen and the living/dining area to begin with.

A kitchen to be as updated & efficient as the client who is always on the move globe trotting for work.
This kitchen is from our Schüller premium range – next125. The overall aesthetics exude luxury with Sand Grey high gloss lacquer coupled with Natural Walnut veneer to add some texture. The clean lines are realized by adopting handleless approach and using grip ledge feature.

State-of-art appliances have been seamlessly integrated within the limited kitchen space for not only culinary purposes but also housekeeping activities. Appliances like air extraction/ recirculation hood, 5 cooking zones induction hob, oven, built-in fridge freezer and combo microwave- oven by Gaggenau make the kitchen super functional. The highlights of the kitchen are Gaggenau’s under counter wine cabinet with 2 independently controlled climate zones, Miele’s knock-to-open fully integrated dishwasher and Schüller’s award winning carcass height of

87.5cms that makes using the kitchen effortless. On the housekeeping side, there is a fully integrated Siemen’s washing machine and a broom unit that makes the apartment kitchen multi-purpose.
Tiered pull out larder, lemans corner unit, wall mounted units with fold-flap- doors have been composed together to maximise storage within the limited space.

The design decision to use the 1.2cms thickness Dekton Keon stone all the way from the back splash to the breakfast counter edge, was consciously made to achieve a visual inhibited flow. Sink & Mixer are from Foster to extend highest standards of quality.

A special feature from next125 that’s not only aesthetic but also functional is the cube system that has been integrated in the Dekton backsplash. Multiple electrical sockets have been used in a concealed manner with the help of cube system and pull out socket bar to enhance efficiency.
