A villa kitchen that went through a complete facelift that entailed extensive contracting work. Walls were taken down, windows were transformed into doors and the overall layout was blown open to create a free-flowing uninhibited canvas from the living area to the kitchen. The owners – young couple – with impeccable taste in aesthetics (& coffee). This can be vividly seen in the material, accessories and layout choices they agreed for their Schüller-C kitchen. The tall and base cabinets in Crystal White high-gloss lacquer laminate are contrasted with Lava Black satin lacquer wall cabinets. These smooth finishes are further complimented with natural textures of Samo Oak wood and volcano finish Arden Blue worktop from Silestone.

The meticulously renovated layout has spaces flowing into one another flooded with natural light and warm energy. An interesting add-on feature is a work/study desk affixed to the kitchen for the couple to wrap up work or have the kids study while they whip up a meal.

Though the expansion included the kitchen walls being pulled down, the supporting column remained untouched. Hence clever maneuvers were made with the kitchen island and work desk wrapping around the column.

The complete kitchen furniture is handleless that ensure clean architectural lines. The Lava Black wall cabinets have motorized doors that flip open by a gentle push and closes with a button push. A cohesive mix of tall, wall, base cabinets with open shelves offer maximum storage. Additional storage space has been created by integrating Cube system in the backsplash.

The kitchen has been made incredibly efficient by a multitude of appliances – induction hob, built-in oven, micro-oven combi, dishwasher by Siemens + ceiling hood Etoile by Elica + under counter chiller, built-in fridge & freezer by Liebherr.
