The journey of realizing this kitchen, lighting and flooring project has been an unforgettably amazing experience. Zeynab walked into our showroom and within a week she had the final Schüller.C kitchen design ready for order – complete with Occhio lighting and Parador flooring. This was the result of an articulate client with an immaculate vision guided by an empathetic and expert designer at Goettling Interiors.
The latest 2020 collection of Schüller.C was chosen to create a dark and enigmatic kitchen with multiple finishes of Matt Lacquer laminate in Stainless Steel Metal ground effect & Satin Lacquer in Lava Black. These deeper hues are coupled with warm and textured Old Oak wood of the breakfast table and open shelves. More colors and textures are added by the Neolith Nero Zimbabwae Riverwashed ceramic worktop and Neolith Concrete Taupe Silk backsplash! It is always an advantage when your client is fearless & expressive with quick decision making capacity to pick best-suited details from all the design options that our designer create.
Enhanced storage has been achieved by a series of tall, base and wall cabinets. The mix&match approach is not limited to the material finishes but also with the types of storage elements. Closed cabinets – tall, wall and base cabinets have a multitude of fronts ranging from Glass Roller Shutters, Flap doors, Framed Glass fronts with diamond mesh pattern along with the regular doors. Series of maximum width drawers with internal drawers equipped with oak wood cutlery inserts and lid holders offer organised storage.
The kitchen is laid out in a standard rectangle plan with a central island. One side is entirely open with access to the dining area and the living area. With 2 walls being dense with furniture and Cube system, the 3rd wall has been installed with more floating wall cabinets to balance the visual density. The open UV Matt lacquered Onyx Black Frame and wooden open shelves with integrated ambient lighting add a bit of openness.
This beautiful kitchen has been fitted with the crème de la crème appliances namely – Gaggenau induction hob and extendable table ventilation hood. Miele integrated fridge, freezer, dishwasher and oven, microwave-oven & vacuum sealing drawer.
The wet area consists of Matt black granite sink and mixer by Franke complete with integrated food disposal system.
The cosy breakfast table is crowned by 2 matt black Sento Sospeso pendant lights by Occhio. These luminaires feature touchless gesture control and height adjustment.
The kitchen is given a premium ground with Parador’s Oak Skyline vinyl flooring with acoustic protection underlay.
A statement-making kitchen designed at light-speed and realized with perfection.
